From otters and kingfishers to raptors and wildfowl, the River Stour plays host to all kinds of wonderful creatures and plants. Take our guided trip to explore and learn more about this rich and diverse habitat and be shown the wildlife hot spots before the hustle and bustle of the day begins.

Join us for a guided evening paddle to The Henny Swan and back, every other Thursday from April - Sept.

These are canoe based social paddles,come alone and we'll buddy you up with another guest or one of the team and bring your mates and make it a get-together.

This explorer paddle is designed for a families with school aged children. Hire our stable canoes for this guided adventure down the River Stour.

Your guide will lead you down the River Stour as far as the watermill at Great Cornard where the opportunity for further on land exploring and den building and a quick snack before returning to our Sudbury base along the calm and tranquil River Stour with all the wildlife and landscapes to enjoy en-route.

For one weekend only, we are inviting you to join us on the riverside for a paddle on the "dark side" in a themed paddle on the River Stour. Bring your costume, bring a picnic, bring your favourite puns. We'll invite Luke Skywalker to the picnic too because he always has the forks with him! Why did movies 4, 5, and 6 come before 1, 2, and 3? Because in charge of directing, Yoda was!

A spooky evening on the water, imagine a gentle fog rolls in and an owl hoots in the distance. Our canoes glide through the black water and everything seems still. Join us on this one day only fun and maybe a little spooky paddle along the river Stour. Costumes encouraged but not required!

One-way Canoe series of social Santa Paddles, we're running a series of festively themed one-way paddles on the River Stour in December. Morning transfers included.

Explore the river in all it's winter glory! We'll find wintering wildfowl and we're on hand to offer our expertise and informal guiding skills along the journey to those who'd like it but you are also free to paddle at your own pace on these trips and to enjoy the river alone if you prefer.
